Prayer Chimes

You are welcome to add your prayers any time!

In early August of 2020, during an outdoor worship service, we introduced our prayer chimes as a way for the congregation and neighborhood to remember others in prayer. We'd all heard the hard news that school would be online for the foreseeable future, so we invited students to pray for teachers and friends so they could feel closer to them while they were apart. We tied on prayers for healthcare workers, parents, and people who were sick, grieving, unemployed, and lonely. We added prayers for racial justice, for the families of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd. Our neighbors soon joined us and added their prayers just as we had hoped!

In September of this year we added space for more. When the wind blows, we remember that God hears all of our prayers and that the Holy Spirit is at work in our lives and in the world!
