“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is … serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously…”
-Romans 12:7-8

We at First Meridian Heights are committed to care for each other by sharing our God given skills and gifts as well as by demonstrating financial generosity.  FMHPC provides a meeting place  for programs like the JOY program, AYS, the Algebra project, School 70 students, and AA.  Our members spearhead programs like ”Bring Back a Sack”  which provides food for those in need, a Community Garden which will in turn supply fresh fruit and vegetables to the Food Pantry.  Each year,  neighborhood children are given backpacks filled with school supplies from our congregation.  And each Christmas, children are given gifts through the Giving Tree program.  Getting involved is as easy as a phone call or email.  Check out the programs, find the one(s) closest to your heart, and…”Live out this God-created identity the way our Father lives toward us, generously and graciously” – (Luke 6:35)
